Retour sur le 22ème RDV du carnet de voyage à Clermont ...

J’ai passé quatre jours intenses au 22ème RDV du carnet de voyage à Clermont à présenter mon nouveau projet Back to Benin. J’ai revu des amis sketchers du monde entier et rencontré des nouveaux.elles. C’était top de discuter dessin, art, du temps et de l’histoire, autour de ce projet qui me tient à cœur.
C’était la première étape, je vais continuer à présenter ce travail en 2023 à Porto Novo et ailleurs.

Rencontres littéraires à Pont Saint Esprit ...

Week-end bien chargé au Festival du Livre Pont-Saint-Esprit avec David Rivolier pour présenter le film Frontière(s) et donner un atelier d’Urban Sketching en noir et blanc.
Encore de très belles rencontres, des discussions à n’en plus finir, des échanges intéressants qui nous font progresser.
J’avais apporté quelques exemplaires de nos livres Urban Sketchers Paris et ils sont tous partis!
Un grand merci pour l’accueil chaleureux et convivial de toute l’équipe du festival, c’était top!
Projet au centre pénitentiaire Paris la Santé depuis début 2020 avec Brigitte Lannaud Lévy Claire Archenault, Marielle Durand, Mat Let, Tula Moraes et Marion Rivolier.

Dimanche après-midi au festival du livre de Pont-Saint-Esprit, jolie rencontre littéraire avec Olivier Dorchamps qui aime écrire comme j’aime dessiner. Merci pour nos échanges fournis.
Et le fameux pont de Pont Saint Esprit avec des lumières et couleurs encore automnales, une respiration.

Drink & Draw à Beaubourg avec Sheila …

J’ai donné rendez-vous à Sheila Playground et les dessinatrices.eurs de Urban Sketchers Paris au café du Centre Pompidou pour un Drink & Draw en semaine. La Corée et l’Indonésie, mais aussi l’Argentine étaient représentées. C’est toujours magique de voir à quel point le dessin sur le vif peut nous rassembler et nous connecter au monde entier.
A la fermeture du café, à la demande de Sheila, nous avons fait une crêpes Party près de la fontaine Stravinsky. J’y ai croqué rapidement une vue de nuit puis nous sommes rentré.e.s manger les fameuses crêpes !

Last evening, Drink & Draw with @uskparis in two rounds :
The first one at the café of @centrepompidou . It was nice to meet sketchers from Korea and of course the amazing @sheilasplayground from Indonesia. @urbansketchers are really connected!
Second round was a « Crepes Party » in front of the Stravinsky fountain for a #nightpainting session (outside at the beginning)
I spent funny time with a nice band of sketchers !

Mirage d’un coucher de soleil dans les Grandes Serres du Jardin des Plantes …

                   

Il y a quelques semaines, j’ai passé l’après-midi à peindre les grandes serres du jardin des plantes avec Urban Sketchers Paris et Stéphanie. il faisait chaud, on avait l’impression d’être dans la forêt tropicale ! J’ai même peint un coucher de soleil au lointain entre les palmes, alors qu’il n’y en avait pas… ça doit être l’ambiance tropicale qui m’est montée à la tête …

Yesterday I spent the afternoon painting the large greenhouses of the botanical garden with uskparis and Stéphanie. It was hot, it felt like we were in the rainforest! I even painted a sunset in the background between the palms, when there was none… it must be the tropical atmosphere that went to my head…
