In April 2019, a few days after the fire, I went to paint Notre-Dame from a somewhat distant point of view because it was then inaccessible.
Last Saturday, I painted the same point of view. Working on the same motifs, looking for other ways to explore, is a way of progressing and telling differently. Four years later, impossible to resist the call of scaffolding, you know how much I like them!
